Sprite Taylor gearbox manual

We are trying to finish final assembly of engine and gearbox and have run into a problem. After reassembly of the gearbox we have it on the bench and find the shift into 2nd is not working properly. All parts looked great and went back in just fine. Obviously something is out of adjustment. I was hoping to see if there is a manual available to make we are adjusting the shift assembly correctly. Does anybody know of a source

With the Hewland/Webster dog synchro's, load helps them engage as they are tapered, not 90'. Not sure what your engagement problem is.

There are no "manuals" that I am aware of. It is also likely not an "adjustment" of shift assembly since there are really no adjustments to be made (meaning that everything is more or less "fixed" in place). The only exception being the type of shift forks in the box (steel Taylor forks or bronze Richmond/Webster/Haynes forks). Most likely some kind of "assembly" issue and not an "adjustment" issue.
