Anybody willing to disclose the dyno numbers for their 1275lp engines? I'll start. Bachman cam and carbs. 12:1 compression. On JB Racings dyno 106.8hp.

Bob, it is a Quaife brand automatic torque biasing gear style LSD. And this is the first axle I have broken since I bought the Rick Haynes axles and installed double bearing hubs many years ago. Every part has its time limit. I found the limit of this axle. See you soon. Kerry

Okay, I purchased a 4:55 sprite center pumpkin that came with a Torsen limited slip unit installed in it. The problem is that the spline count is maybe twice the number that is stock for sprite axles. My question is, can anybody tell me what vehicle uses the mg diff assembly that would have...

Okay everybody, it looks like the 21/29 is a rare gear set, so I've done some gear charts perusing and have come up with 22/30 needed for my gearbox. Kerry

The gear in question is still on shaft so it would take a little while to get it off. I'm leaving for long beach tomorrow so a I 'll deal with it when I ge back. Thanks Jon Kerry

Okay, I solved my third gear issue and now I need to replace a pitted 2nd gear. Does anyone have a 21/29 hewland gear for sale? Kerry

So my 1275LP is just about ready to be installed, but I'm not sure about the ratios that are currently in my dog box. I know that the power band will be wider than my 948 so maybe I should re-gear for a bigger drop between shifts. I guess I'm asking if anybody has any suggestions for gear...

Thanks Rick. I already have a pair of aluminum hubs, but they are for the wire wheel discs so I need a the spacers to modify. It looks like J Becker has a pair for sale. Kerry
