Will they let us come play? I bet our cars are to "low dollar" for the "elite play ground". Wouldn't want to leak oil on a Ferrari as they get passed by a Sprite.

Depends which model they choose; Autobahn Country Club or Monticello Motor Club.

NSS is back open. I heard last week the TN Region is planning on Autox there next year. There's a new track in Oak Ridge, TN proposed too. Worst deal for us is, we're in no mans land for the SEDiv.

That looks like the track Indycar needs to run, not that downtown rectangle.

There are many things that go into establishing a working relationship with a new race track. One that is very important is type of customers a group will bring. No track wants a group who is difficult to deal with and always seems to cause trouble. SCCA does NOT have that reputation. The SEDiv SCCA Regions are incorporated and will give any assistance the two Regions may ask for in establishing a working relationship. Nashville is on the far end of our Division but it also borders on Midwest and Great Lakes, both of which certainly would benefit with a new track for their drivers. Atlanta Region has helped conduct several races in Tennessee so I'm sure they will be there if needed.

ok NSS opens next year. 18 minutes from the house. Let's getter on the schedule. We need an RE to step up and get us a race.

The new track off 840 will be at least a year or two out. Oak Ridge's track is the same thing.
